Best and worse players signed so far this season

Post by oliv272 »

With the transfer window opening soon it is time to reflect on the summer signings who has impressed and who was been rubbish? (including loanees)

The best signing IMO:
jamie day has become a key part of our defence which has shown in te last few games when he hasnt be able to play. I think whe has real skill and has become one of my favourite players i remenber tge mansfield game where he showed his power and skill and hope we sign him for next season.

Worse signing:
a challenging one a few players that recently have been rubbish have at some points in the season so far have had a good game (thinking of spence here). Tim sills has been a bit poor but his height has prove usefull for crosses and corners. Power and johnson hacent been amazing but i wouldnt say eiter of them are the worse signing. I am not sure on this one.

What are your thoughts on this?

Merry christmas to all.

Oh and i wrote this on ipod so there are a few mistakes most probably

I must have blinked and missed that!

Given that he played a major part in Wycombe's promotion a few years back, Lewwis Spence has been a major disappointment, closely followed by the aforementioned Sills.

Both Power and Johnson have shown promise.

Prove was the wrong word i think he has shown he (tim sills)could potentially be useful for crosses and headers

Spence the worst, no contest. I'm not counting Keehan.

Howe is surely the best, without him i dread to think where we would be. Day is good but not a great improvement on Robinson IMO.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Spence is also the worst signing for me. I'm suprised that JE seems to like him and stuck with him.

Jamie Day is technically the best player we've brought in, but Rene Howe has proved the best for me.
