I suppose we could maybe look at a rolling month to month contract? Keeps him on his toes knowing that if he's shit for a couple of games we'll get rid of him. Means we can save the decision until the summer when we'll know where we are as a club. We wouldn't want to be in the league with a lazy player in our strikeforce.
Actually come to think of it a month to month wouldn't work since he's currently on loan. D'ya think he'd go for a 6 month contract? I really think we should keep him on a short leash, a year's contract maximum if we do actually go for him because if he bombs who will actually take him off our hands?

Would very much like to see Sam given a much more senior role in the club, especially as he has now had a few games under his belt. Imho, i think J-Lo has the ability to be a strong target man, which is what we really need. However, if he cant perform on a regular basis, which is what we have seen so far, then i think we would gain more from involving Sam in games etc, rather than leaving him out for J-Lo.Two of Diamonds wrote:Rdfc91 wrote:Not sure what JE see's in J-Lo, i'm not a fan and would rather he was sent back and we use the money for a new striker!
I wouldn't even go that far. I'd release J-Lo as we have Sam Smith and need to bring him along and we can keep the purse strings tight.
Whatever happens, i think JEMS and KC will make the right decision for the club!

I'm not 100% sure about this but I trust Justin's judgement.

Steve wrote:After yesterday, J-Lo has just about convinced me. I'd keep him on loan til the end of the season. He had a good game yesterday, obviously scoring two, and overall I think it's three in sevem for us, which is a decent return, epecially for the type of striker he is.
So his loan has been extended. Should be interesting to see how things go. He's got the opportunity that he wanted, now he's got to seize it with both hands and show us what he can to do.
Out of interest, how does this contribute to our total/allowed number of loans per season?

I said I'm not 100% sure, doesn't mean I'm not 99% sure.
