Kurt Robinson on loan...

Can't understand that for the life of me. Especially with no Day. Perhaps McDonald is going to get a look in.

I'm not surprised with that loan move. Ever since he had a mare in the first leg of the playoff against Oxford, and then lost his starting place, whenever he's played he's been off the pace and his first touch has been poor. It's a shame because I like the lad but regular football at Chelmsford might get his confidence and touch back again.
As BR suggests, it will open the door for McDonald.

The first of many changes I think but I also thinks it's more likely that the door is open for someone new to come in; I don't think that McDonald has enough experience yet to be put into a first team pushing for a play off place.
Good luck to Kurt at Chelmsford :)

I agree but I would suggest that McDonald might get more opportunity for a regular place on the bench and as cover for Jamie Day.

It looks like Justin might be following through what he said after the Eastwood game - http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 90,00.html

Indeed, and although both Sills and Spence have been slatted for their performances on this forum I always thought that Robinson was one of those at risk.

The only thing I can think is that Cockers or Huke are available for Saturday, otherwise with Day suspended, it is strange to send Kurt out on loan this side of the Luton game. I'd be surprised to see Aynsley start on Saturday, although I rate him highly.

Great move.

Kurt is not a patch on Jamie Day IMO, and as for the Luton game I would much prefer Corcoran at LB than Kurt anyway. In a couple of years he'll be an alright player but defensively he always makes me so nervous, against Luton I would be worried. Corcoran won't provide the same attacking threat but he is much better defensively.

Loan could be exactly what he needs.

And I really hope we don't play Aynsley v Luton, don't care how promising he is that is far too big a risk

Now there's a decision I don't understand. We have Luton away on Saturday and we ship out our only available experienced left footed full-back. It's far too early for McDonald to come in IMO, sorry JE I just don't get the timing on that one.

Corcoran can play at left back and has done well in the past there. The question is if he's fit, and the more I think about it, he must be.
