He's a big (194cm) strong young defender who played for Forest Green last year
he's apparently no better than what we've already got according to Football Manager 2011 :P
but physically he is what we need at the back, lets see if it actually happens

Erm, Mark Byrne is a midfielder, Oliver Thorne is a defender. :?

I don't recall ever seeing Thorne play, but a 6'4" defender sounds exactly like the sort of player we need.

Not that I'm aware of. Soccerbase claims he started out at the franchise.
