Lee Tomlin...

Post by HiHoRushden&Diamonds »

Yesterday i was at Fulham Vs Peterborough and although the posh lost 6-2 Tomlin looked like the most exciting player on the pitch. He scored a very good goal, created and looked lively throughout. Personally i think it is extrermely impressive for a 21 year old to go to Fulham and have the impact he did against a full strength Fulham side. When you bare in mind several months ago he was playing in the conference and today he was playing against internationals who have played in the premier league for years, it makes it more remarkable.
He seems to have established himself as a fans favourite there (he was the first name that was sang by the fans and he was chanted the most and pretty much throughout) I was actually quite surprised to see a fair few Tomlin shirts in the crowd!
He definately has a big future ahead of him, good luck Lee.

Nice to hear he's doing well, would've been a waste (for us) if he'd have left Diamonds and failed.

I heard today that Posh turned down a £1.5 million offer for him. It would be a nice sell on for us.
