I don't think the players effort could be questioned at all today, unfortunately the team seems to be drained of all confidence and there doesnt appear any natural leaders in the team that can help to pull everyone together. It has to be said that the squad is lacking genuine quality and no creavity at all in midfield.

As for people saying that Dale's death is affecting the players performance- Of course it will, they are only human. Certain players will start to come the terms with what has happened quicker than others, not everyone will react the same.

Anyway bring on Eastwood! :)

Some fan you are

So that you can say i am right Justin is shit you would be happy to have this club relegated and i would imagine fold as we would never have the funds to maintain this club on income lower than the Conference national.

Where exactly did I say that, you fool. Less of the ASSUMING and twisting the words. I would NOT be happy to see us relegated. I don't think JE has a clue and will not take us forward, I am however open for him to prove me wrong.

Why do you have the right to question what makes a fan? Just because I make an honest opinion you question what sort of fan I am. I am the sort that has stayed behind and picked up litter, the sort that has weeded outside, the sort that has given up many summer evenings to clean the seats, the sort that has helped out with fund raising efforts, the sort that has only (until this season) missed 7 home games in ten years. Lets have less of the judgemental "what sort of fan are you?" it ****ing boring. We all love the club or we wouldn't even be here.

Well Mr Hucker i'm sorry that i upset your feelings but i do suggest before you post you clearly state what you mean so as to clear up any chance of misunderstandings.

The words that would have made your statement clear as follows:-

'Secondly i hope we do escape relegation as i have no faith in the manager.'

Yours Faithfully

I thought the word from JE before Christmas was that some players had played their last game for us after the York defeat. Who exactly was he refering to, coz the 2 that i would kick out the door, Johnson and Charles both came on yesterday? There is only Sills, Stuart and Howe who have left and none of them have been booted out.

Well I don't agree with you on either Charles or Johnson (he's come up two divisions and is playing Full time for the first time in his life).

It's a long transfer window, if we are going to make the changes you suggest (I don't agree there should be, but everyone has an opinion) there's no point getting rid of players if there's no one in place to play the position.

JE may have said that in anger after the York game, and who would blame him. But the circumstances at the club changed completely on 14th December. Justin may make mistakes but he is not heartless. Many of the players are still in grief and it would be in no-one's interest to show them the door at this monent in time. Some of you on here may make snide remarks about Justin's new contract - but he offers us stability at a time when we need it most. The 2 new centrebacks look promising. We have young players like Nabil and Keehan who are maturing greatly during their loan spells and I'm sure Justin will be the first to admit that he is not happy with the present situation as regards finishing. We are making chances. Day, Charles and Osano are making telling crosses into the box and we will start converting them into goals eventually. It may be that this season has to be a time for regrouping and consolidation but many clubs are in a far worse situation .

Was that meant to be patronising or just your attempt at humour, I really can't decide and TBH don't really care either. :D There is certainly no need to be sorry that you seem to have trouble understanding the written word, you should just regeret your school years as a waste of time.
Lastly I'm no grammar police, I think you'll find that title rests on the very capable hands of Red dragon. ;)
