I very nearly went to that game but decided instead to work on the Football Manager updates that I should have submitted yesterday!

Was Morgan Phillips not playing as well? I know he was on loan there early in the season.

I saw Hitchin Town maintain their unbeaten start to the season by beating Daventry Town 2-0. They obviously have different standards regarding the state of pitches at Zamaretto level, as it was a total mudbath down one flank.

Ow, I nearly went to that game but didn't in the end. Was it worth it?

Not really. Given Hitchin had scored 9 in their previous game I was expecting to see some decent strikers - but they were pretty poor, apart from scoring a good second goal. Daventry deserved to be ahead before the two late goals.

Premier Sports appear to be reshowing the Mansfield game for some reason.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.
