Re: Crawley/Evans
It would be hypocritical of us to moan about Crawley's good fortune with having monied backers, its the convicted cheat that manages them that gets my goat !! I hate cheats, and I hate cheats that prosper !! Hopefully the football gods of fair play have future plans for the cheat eh? I live in hope.
Fair play to the team though, they've done well, it just churns my stomach that Evans will/has become the media's darling !! The man shouldn't even be in the game, and if the FA had any balls, he wouldn't be !!

Come on guys, I detest Evans as much as anyone but how many of us wish it were us in the draw for the next round?...I certainly do and I wish Crawley the very best of luck - hope they draw a big team (ManScum, Chelski or Everton will do) and get thrashed live on TV

Did any one see it on tv?
Brodie came on for the last 5 minutes and still managed to make me detest him more
the general 'gamesman/sportsmanship' on show was terrible it took tubbs half an hour to walk 5 yards of the pitch and when he finally got off another crawley player went down with cramp.
i just wish it was a different club doing it than them

Re: Crawley/Evans
The only remotely good thing about all this crawley business is that everytime national media mention Crawley town, they always add 'The Man City of Non-League Football'

I think someone needs to let the media know what Evans is like, especially with regard to his past.Rushdenjim wrote:The only remotely good thing about all this crawley business is that everytime national media mention Crawley town, they always add 'The Man City of Non-League Football'
If it had happened to any other club at non league level (apart from K*ttering) I wouldn't have problem with all this.
