Prosser injury.

Post by HiHoRushden&Diamonds »

Could somebody please explain what happened with Prosser's injury and the red card. I did not see what happened, but i presumed that Prosser had been struck in the face and was making the most of it to try and get they player sent off. Seeing him stay on the floor and hobble off with what looked like a quite a bad injury however, really confused me. This was made worse by the reaction of the Tamworth fans, clearly something odd hapened and I'm not sure. Was he stamped on?

He was making a routine clearance out, and the striker stuck his leg out to block it but followed through quite hard, sending Prosser flying over  and the Ref sent the striker off for it. In PDs interview he said he only has a bruised foot and that he will be out for a couple of days.

PD didn't say that - he said it would be a couple of days before they could assess it.

Listen at about 1m30 in his interview - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 376646.stm

Although Bradley did following through, he was actually sent off for KICKING Prosser in the head as he walked passed him and then proceeded to stand over him and shouting in his face to get up.

I missed all the action and now I wish i saw it i was busy getting a hot chocolate in an attempt to not freeze to death. The tamworth fans were going mental though.
