Stevenson from Eastwood would be an excellent signing, and surely would cost very little if anything at all. I said before how impressed I was with him. He reminded me of McElhatton and i can't pay him any bigger compliment than that.

No chance of getting Birchall. He's been linked with Palace and would cost 100k IMO. Flint went from Alfreton to Swindon recently and cost 150k, so teams are willing to spend that kind of money on relative unknowns.

Totally agree I'd give him a shot at playing in the BSBP, maybe with Marks from Braintree ?

Ha! Like it, but considering we've no chance of winning this league this season I'd settle for a few more wins this season then build for next. Strikers win games, defenders win titles.

I wonder if the Striker will be Jamie Cook who we nearly signed in the summer, thats if cheaty Mcfraud can bare to loose one of his bench warmers.
