Team to play Cambridge Utd
.......................Joe Day
Miller.......Oshodi...........Corcoran.........Day
........................Mills
............Porter..............Power
..........Gash.......Smith........O'Connor
subs;- Evans(GK), Johnson, Farrell, Charles, Osano
I'm going to assume that neither Prosser nor Huke are fit, so that's my team selection. I honestly think Smudger is a better centre-forward in the box than Gash, that's why I've stuck him in the middle. Time for Curtis Osano to be dropped to the bench.

Swap Gash and Smith around an I'll agree with you. I don't think Gash has the pace/ability to beat defenders. Two of Diamonds wrote:.......................Joe Day

Re: Team to play Cambridge Utd
If JE sticks with playing Gash in the middle I will be less than impressed he cannot play there any more than sam can play on the outside. Miller did/does have flu but this is the best team we can play really although I would pick huke if available to take osanos positon on the benchTwo of Diamonds wrote:.......................Joe Day

New Experienced Keeper
Miller Oshodi New Experienced Centre Half Day
Porter Mills Power
New Striker Gash O'Connor
Subs:- Joe Day, Corcoran, Osano, Johnson, Smith.
Transfer window closes tomorrow (i know we could still get loans in after that) and i honestly feel we need an old head in goal, at the back and another forward option.

Re: Team to play Cambridge Utd
Although he faded against Tamworth, I feel Gash is better placed in the middle and I feel that he does set up stuff for other players, I do feel we need to take advantage of it more. JE said at the forum that Sam's currently best placed to coming off the bench, which I agree with.oliv272 wrote: If JE sticks with playing Gash in the middle I will be less than impressed he cannot play there any more than sam can play on the outside. I do feel we need a bit more of an understanding up front and we won't gain by constantly tinkering with it (plus the issue we need to sort out is at the back at the moment).
Osano I agree needs to be benched.

You never know such an unorthodox formation might work..

We seem to be struggling for players at the minute due to injuries. I'm guessing Miller might be fit for this. :?
