Whereas... Suarez scored over 80 in just over 100 games.... yet can be considering a 'flop' before hes even kicked a ball :D:D:D I agree in the sense that 23m is a stupid price to pay.... (as I agree that most fee's these days are ridiculous) but I wouldn't consider him a flop with that goal scoring record.

I'm not denying Suarez's record in Holland, but I just can't see him cutting it in the Premier League. I was looking forward to seeing him in the World Cup last year, but aside from a couple of good goals his alround play was poor, and he came across as a whinging, arrogant cheat, almost in the mould of El Hadji Diouf (although perhaps not quite as big a twat).

Mateja Kezman and Dirk Kuyt had outstanding records in Holland....
