Got mixed up with Oshodi. Osano was utter crap tonight.
Sam didn't do much, but picked up a bit enough in the second to score, the goal coming after a decent spell for him where he forced the keeper into a save, so I'll let him off tonight.
Ryan Charles showed exactly why you shouldn't give up (rest of team for first half please take note) and set up Faz.
I was surprised Gash came off mind. I still maintain that if the rest of the team gambled so they could get on the end of what he wins in the air we'll create more chances.

1,279. I think I said earlier when we played Histon that our attendances might be in terminal decline and there wasn't an away figure but I don't think there was more than 850 home fans tonight. We're not doing that badly so why are they constantly dropping?
It was better than Saturday we looked like scoring tonight and should have had at least 4. Cambridge were a poor outfit though. We should be looking at another win at the Abbey and who knows from there.

It wasn't the best of performances, although a win is a win. Get up that table, keep winning and we should see a few more back.
First half performance was frankly disgraceful. To not manage any kind of shot in 45 minutes of a game of football is criminal, let alone against a team as bad as that.
Second half was considerably better though. Porter should/could have had a couple before Smith finally scored, and after that it was one way traffic really. Delighted for Faz.
We can't keep churning out first-half performances like that, a better team would have buried us in the first 20 mins.
Charles was excellent when he came on, and Smith did himself proud yet again, working extremely hard for the team and I was surprised when he was brought off. Thought Gash was poor (which was a shame because I thought he had been improving game by game) and O'Connor put in arguably his worst performance for us in my opinion.
Got to be said though, we started playing better when Gary Mills stopped trying hollywood 50-yard passes.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
