Re: Negativity..
Really don't understand the point.
Who said you weren't allowed to be happy that we won?
I appreciate the fact that you see fit to defend the first half performance. We didn't have a shot for about 60 minutes. Not one. So what they had 10 men behind the ball? That's indefensible in my opinion, but a forum is full of people with different opinions.

No its not................did you see what I did there? ;)
Its the ups and downs of supporting Diamonds that I love
If we put in a dreadful performance on Saturday you'll know my views about it on here for sure, likewise if we play like Brazil ! Incidentally, my boss, who is top of our predictions league at work, says Cambridge will win 3-0, he's darn good at score predictions - I hope he's fooked this one up !

It's irrelevant really seeing as Justin doesn't set the entrance prices; that's done by the Board. Perhaps you should have taken the opportunity to ask the question last Friday night...supersub wrote:Would JE be happy to part with seventeen quid to stand on the terrace that's what I want to know>

Re: Negativity..
I don't see anyone predicting, nor expecting us to win 5 - 0 every week. What we're looking for is well thought out, well constructed football. All I ask is that we learn what we're doing wrong, then correct it and it'll produce better results both in performance and points. Reading the PD article on the offy site, shows that the management are looking and thinking about it, now it's just a matter of coaching it so the team puts it into practice.
Seems what you were saying at the game on Tuesday Piggers (about the support to Gash) might have been noticed and taken on board. So it's your fault now hahaha  ;)

Blooming ada, you don't mean to say that I got something right  Maybe they'll listen to me about the admission fee now eh? ;)Two of Diamonds wrote:Seems what you were saying at the game on Tuesday Piggers (about the support to Gash) might have been noticed and taken on board. Seriously though, whatever anyone else says, Gash is a decent and intelligent player, he's just not played in the right way, we leave him far too isolated - if we play with someone closer to him in support, not only will he create goals, he'll score them.

Re: Negativity..
The admission prices were mentioned on Friday night, it was said that they will be looked at, come the end of the season but that does not mean that they will go down. I honestly think we have lost about 150 people from the terrace and it will not be easy to get them back. I personally know of 6 who have been coming for years who do not attend now because of the price increase. Thank god for the good away support on Tuesday to give us a decent crowd

Re: Negativity..
Thats what I'd do too............having said that, the way we played second half on Tuesday did produce one hell of a lot of chances, so what do I know?
