Re: Where are the moaners now?????
As you'll see if you look back, I've been positive throughout our dismal run, BUT, Tuesday's first half performance WAS dreadful, below par, disjointed, clueless - call it what you will !! Justin knew it, so did Paul Driver - thats why they changed things at half time. The second half was a polarised performance, the exact opposite - and many others said so too !UttoDiamond wrote:Three wins in four, flying up the table! Yesterday was a thoroughly professional performance without being spectacular - the lads did the job in difficult weather conditions and could/should have won by more - the coming together of the team at the end to celebrate showed real togetherness, they're turning into a reallt tight unit - good to see. Cambridge were poor, but you can only beat what is in front of you, and we did it comfortably.
UttoDiamond, please don't mistake people talking about a match, and picking up on poor performances, as people moaning - its what this forum is for, to talk about the match, good points and bad. If we perform badly I'll say so, but I'll be honest in my appraisal. When we're good, I'll celebrate and be praising - I'm not a moaner, but a true supporter who will talk about the match as I see it, and hopefully have some good debate with fellow fans as a result. I'm not someone who will bury my head in the sand and pretend everything in the garden is rosy when it isn't.
I hate it when people start saying "where are the moaners now", because we have very few of them on here - but we do have people who give realistic appraisals of the team's performances and that should be encouraged. If thats what you mean by "moaners" then I'm happy to be one !!
