Whole team played brilliantly, but Prosser was EXCEPTIONAL! One of the best individual performances i've seen in a long time.

Lets be honest though, Cambridge were awful. How their team has been allowed to deteriorate that badly i'll never know.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Hayden wrote:Jamie day got the coah motm. He scored a well work one two corner and slotted home in the smallest of corners of the net. Looked as though oconnor would never shoot but he did and that was a tidy finish in the opposite corner to days. Very solid 2nd half performance and the fans were very vocal for all 90 mins! Really well deserved victory. Well done
Jamie Day and Prosser shared the MotM vote on the coach, with O'Connor close behind in third.

I voted for Prosser, who was absolutely outstanding. Osano also had his best game for a long time today.

The difference between the teams today was the ability to cope with the wind. It actually helped playing into the wind rather than with it, because the ball held up and made it tricky to defend against. Playing with the wind, every time the ball was played forwards it just sailed straight through to the 'keeper, as both sides found out.

Very good first half performance, the second half was pretty dire.
Sam Smith looked pretty dangerous at times, and although Osano didn't have a great game he did his job well, and hopefully his recent form is behind him.
Nobody played badly today, a very good performance as a team. Hopefully going to Gateshead after today's performance :D

(This was the end of a 7 match away run of wins)

12th Sept 2000 v Scarborough (3-0)
16th Sept 2000 v Woking (4-1)
30th Sept 2000 v Kingstonian (3-2)
is this right?
sure we won three on the spin last year. maybe there was a cup game between league ones.

I think DW is looking at League games. We did win five away in a row last season - of which 3 were league games - but one of them was at Chester which was expunged - so it was technically only two league games.
