Shocking scoreline, and a shame considering our recent form.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Our form disguised some pretty crap performances though you have to admit.

Teams come to nene park knowing our formation and how we play . We need to change things sometimes
Re: Match Thread v Gateshead
What a great chance wasted to keep a run going and to really push up that table, I know its only 1 game but if we're going to make the playoffs we're going to have to get a good run going and this sort of result considering we thought we'd turned a corner after the Cambridge games suggests that we can't do that unfortunately.
Plenty of time left to make the top 5 but I can't see it happening really, this should have been a reasonably straight forward 3 points.

The last Saturday game when we had an attendance at Nene Park that was lower than today was Saturday 5th February 1994 v Yate Town. Attendance = 810.

Started off ok in the first half and very unfortunate to go in behind at half time. Don't know what Edinborough said to them at half time, but it did'nt work. Miss-placed passes, hit and hope balls up top and very poor finishing. Have to say play-offs is way off the mark on this performance. Gateshead offered vitually nothing in an attacking sense, but we still managed to loose. oh and Michael's middle name still should be "is"! ;)

Actually for me Gash was man of the match. He was working hard and wanted to try to play football.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Started off ok in the first half and very unfortunate to go in behind at half time. Osano on the other hand is an absolute disgrace. He had a hand in both goals, didn't try to get back, wobbled around the pitch. We could have been 4 -0 down at the end thanks to him not defending.
On the attempt that Joe turned over the bar, Millsy actually turned around and had a go at Curtis for not even attempting to defend. He played today as though he doesn't want to be here.
