The atmosphere at home getting quieter lately

Post by Mad Dog »

Is it just me or this season has it started brightly and then tailed off into general chit chat on the Debanke? We only seem to respond these days when we go a goal down of towards the end of a match.

I'm guessing a lot of the singers that start chants might be staying away (not a criticism, just an observation), but it would be great if from now until the end of the season we were able to bring our singing from the away matches to the home matches just to see if that helps to lift the team on the field, especially when things aren't going well or we have yet to get that first goal in a match.

I always think that a team has to give the fans something to chant about and in the last home game there was nothing for the home fans to get excited about and the first half against Cambridge was just as bad

We've never been loud at home to be honest... Many times I've sung along with our supporters and some people around me have given me evils for doing so!

If we got EVERYONE in the De Banke singing we would be loud, but sadly not everyone wants to or can be bothered too.

To be honest we had nothing to sing abou against Gateshead the atmosphere was dire full stop. But we get a great atmosphere going when the team perform. I loved the atmosphere against Cambridge home and away
