Agreed. I bet the next lot down will be exactly the same and have to respect how hard this league is the hard way.Trek wrote:Another club relegated from League 2 who thought they would get promoted at the first attempt.

Re: Woods sacked at Grimsby ..
Surely taking one look at how Oxford and Luton have/still are struggling will show people how hard this league is.
It's only really the fans of these teams that expect to go straight back up, isn't it?

I don,t think Luton will mke it this season as well, for me it will be Crawley as champs and the Wombles to win the play offs. Luton will have to cut their cloth then , not only loosing the parachute and youth team money but with their gates probably going down as well

I'm not so sure about Luton. I doubt their gates will drop if they don't go up this season, and if they do drop I'm sure it won't be by much. They'll still be by far and away the best supported club (in terms of quantity not quality of fans!) in the league so I don't think the effects of losing the parachute payments will be as significant as they would be for any other club.STAGMAN wrote:I don,t think Luton will mke it this season as well, for me it will be Crawley as champs and the Wombles to win the play offs. Their biggest problem is finding a manager who can consistently get the best out of what is probably the most talented group of players in the league.

if they don't go up this season i can see them trying to steal JE off of us. Luton always play football the right way, i can't see many of their fans departing them.
