In my case it was simple. My Dad wanted to take me to a football match and Diamonds being the local side, I was taken to (ironically) our home game against Crawley in August 1995. We won 3-1 and the rest was history.
I didn't have a clue where we were in the league mind except towards the end. I just enjoyed coming.
