That would be a possibility on the land opposite the Club shop. His use of the word 'supermarket' however indicated to me a bigger outlet.PigmanRDFC wrote:I'm sure they're looking into it - maybe one of those "Tesco Express" kind of outlets??? A question to ask on Friday methinks.

Re: Transfer Embago
I doubt it Jim, as there's already one in Irthlingborough. Plus there's a planning application in for an A1/A3 retail foodstore (new build) in Irthlingborough town centre (on the site of the now demolished factory near the church). This application was turned down 12 months ago, but has since been re-done (EN/10/02082/FUL).PigmanRDFC wrote:I'm sure they're looking into it - maybe one of those "Tesco Express" kind of outlets??? Re: Transfer Embago
That's true, but the new outlet in Irthlingborough looks pretty impressive (numbers-wise). It talks of a turnover of around £12 -13 MILLION per annum. Now that's the sort of numbers I'd be happy with at Nene Park ;) :lol:PigmanRDFC wrote:Unless they know something we don't eh Robin?
