Should the Club sign Michael Gash on a permanent deal if he's surplus to requirements at York?

Michael Gash.

It appears that Gary Mills, the York City manager is not interested in recalling Michael.

Some really interesting comments from York City supporters.

Do you think that JE might try to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer and if so do you think this would be a good idea?

Depends how much he's asking for in wages. If its within the budget JE may retain him

I hope so.

I rate Gash highly, I don't care what is said about his goal scoring record, he works hard, he holds the ball well, he sets things up (just need the players to support him more and take advantage), still young, a very underrated player.

On the basis of that interview he has no future at York whatsoever. Would really love it if he hit the goal trail now and blasted us into the play-offs at York's expense. Please show this article to him Justin, could be the additional motivation he needs :D

Could show him this thread as motivation, it's a landslide!

Gary Mills' comments there make me laugh. 6 months ago when he was Tamworth manager he would have KILLED for a player like Michael Gash in his squad. All of a sudden because he is York manager he is hanging him out to dry in public and borderline insulting him.

Don't know what has gone on with Gash up there. Perhaps he didn't like it up north? I'd definitely take him. Reminds me a lot of Craig McAllister when he was here, and he's gone on to better things.
