It's not that simple, even if the club wanted to. We're required to offer seating to away fans. We would have to move people in the North or South Stands and that would not go down well. In addition trying to work out access to facilities would be a logistical nightmare.

The end result is that we lose fans angry they've kicked out of the PDB and North/South Stand.

We really need to give the Club an incentive to open the Airwair stand on a regular basis and the only reason that they will be able to do so is when they can be assured of a vast increase in home support once seats get filled to capacity in the north and south stands. Until that happens any further discussion regarding opening the Airwair is pointless. Even when we had half decent crowds, following relegation from League 1 (old Division 2) the fans weren't interested in relocating to the Airwair for a better atmosphere. A trial was held for our match against Macclesfield that season and only 80 fans took up the offer of relocation (at no extra cost). Pigman did a report on the fans comments for the Club.

Let's move on and look at ways at filling the north/south stands and PDB in the first instance.

I think the reduction in attendances would be far more if we moved supporters out of the PDB than it was when we closed the AirWair.

Nothing seems simple and logical so just leave as it is unfortunately.
