Haven't seen either of these lads play, but they have both been promoted to the first team, with squad numbers 25 and 26 respectively. Both are strikers.
Anyone seen them? Any good?
In other news Sam Smith should be back in contention sooner than expected.

Re: Jake Woolley & Dom Brennan
Jake Woolley is probably the second best of the first years behind Jerry Nash. He's had a great season in front of goal and has been attracting the interest of some big clubs apparently. I would think he's some way from being able to cope with the physical side of first team football though.
Dom Brennan has pace to burn, and speaking to Paul Driver at a pre-season game, he said that Dom is the fastest player we've ever had at the club but they just need to teach him to kick a ball! He's been a bit inconsistent when I've seen him this season; he did well at Hull in the FA Cup and scored with a brilliant finish but has had a few poor games as well. Again, I can't see him coping with the physical side.
I imagine both have been registered as a precaution and will only be used as a last resort. Although there's a good chance one of them will be on the bench today if PCH, O'Connor and Charles are all out!

Thinking about youth team,
any of the 2nd years got much chance of a 1st team contract for next year?
I was thinking maybe Morgan Phillips?
Aynsley Mcdonald hasn't really had a chance this year and neither has Shariff up until very recently.

I rate Aynsley quite highly but I think that he's being sent on loan to toughen him up, as well as to get regular games.D14MNDS wrote: Aynsley Mcdonald hasn't really had a chance this year and neither has Shariff up until very recently.
