Re: Luton
they'd obviously had this in mind for a while, as they'd told a couple of clubs brabin wasn't available. they wanted him as next luton manager.

Re: Luton
This is interesting:
On the surface it appears to be league position, but the choice of words implies more than this."After Saturday's defeat at Southport, Gary Sweet and I met to discuss, what we both felt was an unsatisfactory display. We both came to the conclusion that promotion must be the only target for the club in its current position and both decided that we needed to do whatever we felt necessary to make it happen.

Re: Luton
Surely they'd at least let Money lead them into the play-offs and if he fails then replace him. A complete joke imo, come on Wimbledon!

Re: Luton
Its not just the league position, i think its been coming a while, thats why they wouldn't let Brabin go. My dad and brother are both Luton fans and from what i hear the fans don't really like him anyway... but i suppose thats what you get when you keep starting on them, and slagging them off on air!

Re: Luton
Blimey ! Listening to the BBC interviews if they don't get promoted this season they'll be hanging from the rafters at Kenilworth Road ! I know JE said he'd like to see the back of them so we can try to have a bash next season, but so what if they're here? It took us 5 years or so to win it last time with all our financial clout, at least they've the play-offs!
