I'm not so sure about liquidation but I'm certain, having spoken to various contacts today, that we are in deep financial trouble. This is the second time in two months that the players haven't been payed. Full credit to each and every one of them for turning out today and putting in a professional performance.
There are other issues still to be resolved....the issue with the taxman clearly hasn't been resolved and, as far as I'm aware, the embargo is still in place. There were rumours last week of another winding up order (but I can't find any proof of this), club staff have also not been paid and we still have a possible points deduction hanging over us.

Sadly, I'm mindful of the way things turned out at Weymouth and Hornchurch; let's keep everything crossed that a solution can be found and that it can be found quickly.

Does that include under KC the 3 or 4 times we had winding up orders and went to the High Court for unpaid bills, the cutting off of electricity for the same reason, the regularly late or half payments to staff, the general lack of money spent on the upkeep of the facilities such as the North Stand (now cleaned under the new people), the blocked up drains/ toilets (closing the North Stand for a home game on 1 occasion) , the blocked up drainage (now fixed by the new people), the lack of lamps in the car park lighting (now mostly fixed by the new people - which by the way were costing the club money EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT WORKING), the dilapidation order placed against us and the lack of replacement lamps in the floodlights?
Doesn't sound too good to me.

If all of this is true then I'm deeply worried. I had a text from someone I greatly trust earlier stating a lot of what has been mentioned here - if proven to be true then the Beasants have blatantly lied to the supporters of this football club about the financial situation of the club. I hope it al proves to be nonsense !!

Its a shame, I honestly wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and see how things go over the next 12 months, in fact I was quite excited about what I was told of their plans for the future of the club, I now fear we may not have 12 days let alone 12 months !!

I tend not to believe a lot of the rumours I hear, but this one has come from a reliable source - worrying times !!

The players haven't been paid for the second month in a row - from the same source as Piggers I believe, they have only been offered 50% this month - PFA involved.

I don't honestly think the Beasants have a pot to piss in, they failed at Billericay, Hornchurch and Weymouth. Look what happened to those clubs.

I hate being pessimistic but AFC Rushden and Diamonds might soon have to be formed in the not so distant future.

We really need to start investing in the Supporters Trust ASAP.

For the first time, ever, i'm genuinely concerned now. Even just before KC took over i still didn't believe we would go bust, but i just don't see where we go from here.

Everytime i look at our 'chairman' he just screams out overgrown schoolchild. He certainly doesn't look like he should be in charge of a football club. Several well-respected people have posted on this thread that we are basically fucked, for lack of a better word. I'm inclined to elieve them.

The annoying thing is we're giving these wankers entertainment ;)

I would have thought they had enough of their own problems to worry about.
