end of the game

Post by Dukes »

Well done the players today, to turn around 2-0 in the last few minutes felt almost like a victory to many of us fans. However, only a couple of the players really celebrated this with us at the final whistle. Most walked off the field in a disconsolate manner.

Also noticed in the pre-game preparations there seemed to be little fun or banter between them.

Was this a case of a job done and seeing the thing through/going through the motions, or am I reading too much in to this...?

Seemed to me that all the off field problems were affecting the team's performance - probably a very obvious observation.

And also very obviously, the staff, the players and we the remaining loyal fans need more information about our stability and prospects for next season. A little honesty and openness from those who control the club would go a long way - honesty builds trust and trust brings unity and that is what we need to work together, for the club and the fans to go forward towards next season and beyond.
