DECISION TIME
DECISION TIME
As far as i can see its decision time for us whether you like Steve and Liam or not .Do we want a club or not , if we do then we have to back them financially and thro voluntering for jobs around the ground especially tradesmen which in turn saves the club money as well . So i seriously think its make your mind up time , do you want football at Nene park next season, i,ll leave that decision up to you . I know what i am doing , getting my season ticket ordered next week

Re: DECISION TIME
I agree and think some people to need open their eyes and realise that they will be part of the reason the club goes under.Spend money on shares and season tickets and we will not have to worry about the short term to medium term future of this club. Believe and have trust in the clubs owners and our future because if you don't you have some responsibility in the death of our club.

Re: DECISION TIME
I don't think it is about liking them or not.My opinion is how can our club be handed over to people who can't afford to run it within such a short period of time ?.I will do all i can to support it as many others will, but i'm finding it hard to keep faith in these guys.STAGMAN wrote:As far as i can see its decision time for us whether you like Steve and Liam or not .Do we want a club or not , if we do then we have to back them financially and thro voluntering for jobs around the ground especially tradesmen which in turn saves the club money as well . I won't walk away and will support the club through thick and thin and will buy shares to help out.

Re: DECISION TIME
We must have trust in the owners, I know it isn't ideal and often wonder how much K.C knew about these people ad their finances when he sold the club. If you can't face spending the price of a season ticket with the uncertainty then you could at least put £10 in on shares.BartonRaz wrote:Can any of us actually say for certain where this money is going though?

Nope, its a leap in the dark and even though i have reservations about the business brains of those now in charge its pay my money or have no club its that simple.BartonRaz wrote:Can any of us actually say for certain where this money is going though?
In these cash strapped times i fear many clubs are living on the edge, Wrexham the latest with a HMRC winding up order.
Either we pay up or we go down the tubes, of course to be Mr super negative we could still pay up and still go down the tubes.
Hey Ho and all that.

Blind Faith is all we have....
Said I never thanked you for everything you’d done,
I had to do a lot of walking before I could run.
Still you really got me going, but you kept me on ice,
I didn’t care where I was going, no I didn’t think twice.
Blind faith was all we had,
Looking back it all seems kind of sad,
We just sat around and watched it all go bad.

Put it this way I wouldn't trust the Beasants as far as I could throw them. I can assure you they only have their greedy interests at heart.
Re: DECISION TIME
You don't support a Football Club because you have a love in with the owners, in fact maybe the trouble is we had a owner Max Griggs who was one of only a handful of people that really cared about the Club they owned.diamond mad wrote:Put it this way I wouldn't trust the Beasants as far as I could throw them. Now we expect any owner to be like him and care about the Club, sorry we are just like 99% of clubs owned by people who really just want to make money on the land or use the club for other reasons.
we just have to take a deep breath and plunge into this murkey pool and hope it clears the further we go or you do the alternative and keep your clothes on and walk away and never look back.

Re: DECISION TIME
I think the subtle difference is that most other Club owners have substantial cash/assets to back their involvement whereas our present incumbants appear to have none.Biggles wrote:You don't support a Football Club because you have a love in with the owners, in fact maybe the trouble is we had a owner Max Griggs who was one of only a handful of people that really cared about the Club they owned.diamond mad wrote:Put it this way I wouldn't trust the Beasants as far as I could throw them. I made my decision to not renew my season ticket (for the first time in 15 years) several weeks ago, and nothing I have heard since has convinced me to change my mind. It seems to me that the supporters are almost being held to ransom over buying season tickets and/or shares. If we were in this position with owners that had been at the Club for several years, and had a reasonable track record I would be more inclined to take that "leap of faith" once more, but nothing seems to stack up on the financial front for the short, medium or long term as far as I can see.
