Season Tickets
Did I hear correctly at the end of the game that the deadline had been extended to 30th May?
Does this mean they have not sold many, or that new developments might change some minds?
I have not, and will not, buy a new season ticket under present circumstances.

You did hear right. Or at least I heard the same. Smacks of desperation to me, but then i guess its well documented that we are indeed desperate.

it very much depends on what happens , if we are able to ride the close season out and add to the squad, then i think people would buy, if everyone leaves and we are playing 5 leagues below no one is going to buy.

Renewed my season ticket and very happy to do so. The club needs the money I will help as much as possible and I travel from Preston for every home game.

Re: Season Tickets
Problem seems to be a double edged sword there bozzer. Not paying up could mean no club to support come the summer, so the best idea we've heard on here is to pay for one by credit card (if you can afford to) cos it'll have some protection as regards getting your money back if enough persons don't subscribe and they have to mothball the club.bozzer wrote:it very much depends on what happens , if we are able to ride the close season out and add to the squad, then i think people would buy, if everyone leaves and we are playing 5 leagues below no one is going to buy.

i thought that they said the early bird discount cut off date which should be today had been extended to the 28th April, not sure about the further discount cut off dates though.

Re: Season Tickets
Certainly can't argue with people that are concerned about forking out £300 when we've no idea what's going to happen over the summer and whether there'll even be a club to watch in August. But its clear that the club desperately needs the money now as Steve's statements demonstrate and I made sure I got my ST today, it won't do any good just holding out to see what happens in the summer. So I urge anyone in doubt to buy their ST asap and take advantage of the early bird offer and do their bit to help keep the club going, I believe if you pay by credit card and things were to go tits up, you would be able to claim the money back somehow (?) and if we were to be in a lower league, you could probably always ask for a refund on your ST if you're unhappy with what you're paying for.

Interesting that Diamond Donald and I both heard the same thing. Perhaps the deadline has been extended? Or maybe the tannoy announcer got it wrong? I definitely heard the 30th, as did my old man.
