KC. There is an agreement to buy it off him within 3 years.
Should the agreement go through will the stadium be the property of the club, the owners, or possibly even some company that owns the club which is owned by the Beasants?

What sort of figures is the club looking at having to raise/pay to fulfill that?

Was there a mention of what would happen if they couldn't buy it within the three years, or if another company comes along with a competative offer to buy the stadium?

Has KC retained all the rest of the land around the ground and is this included in the deal or completely external and to remain in his hands?

Sorry if you don't know or can't say the answers. Thanks for the info you have posted. Were I nearer I may well have down there looking for some answers on your advice, and I hope others do.

steve@rd-fc.co.uk or maybe you could phone R&D, I'm sure Steve or Liam would take a phone call?

I understand it includes the land as well.

Some of the other stuff I don't know, a few bits I can't say out of respect for what I was told and it's better for things to be announced by the club when it is appropriate. The key point of posting this was so that people know they can talk to them and help clarify a few things.

So Mad Dog there is no prospect of us entering Administration today, next week or in the near future?

If this is so then it is very good news but with a tough road ahead.

Also, if this is the case then perhaps the owners need to have a quiet word with certain members of the Conference hierarchy who are allegedly suggesting that the end is nigh for Diamonds in the Conference!

I await Steve's Financial Statement with much interest!

Well I'm not sure what to believe anymore to be honest, one day we're heading for disaster, the next everything's looking positive (or reasonably) again, so I'm just going to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks before I get excited or worried about the future of the club.

As for volunteering, I'm definitely willing to help out again once I'm back from uni as I did so last summer in the shop, will have to find out what the situation with it is though, I presume the coffee shop is on hold for the moment?

You'd have to ask yourself where a lot of those conflicting stories come from, are they official / legit? The next question is who do you believe?

Exactly, its a very confusing situation on here at the moment, I'm inclined to believe what the Beasants themselves say but then again what RushdenJim posted last night is hard to dismiss as he seems pretty sure that what he had been told is the case.

Well yeah but on the other hand how many times have we heard the phrase 'a reliable source has told me'. Either you believe a mysterious figure who could be wrong or bullshitting or you believe the Chairmen, who have been spoken to today.

I can hardly talk, not having been to a game this season or last but the club seems to be on its knees waiting for the axe to drop almost every single day. It must be time for the owners and those of other non league teams to realise that the future of non league football is part time.

How do you expect to run a full time club on gates of 1,000 every couple of weeks?

Non league football has been broken for a long time.

I know, totally agree with what you're saying, a fan on a messageboard cannot be completely trusted, for now I'll believe what the Beasants themselves say and I'm sure we'll know soon enough who was to be believed.
