Can't say I blame them, you just know some of the K*ttering will be looking for trouble.

How come the postponed fixture at RR wasn't a 12 K.O then?

Good point! the OB obviously forgot about that game

I think a noon kick off is a bit OTT to be honest, yes the derby is a passionate one but i have never witnessed any real trouble apart from a few 12 year old chavs launching a few coins at us. You cant really compare the derby to West Ham v Millwall or Man Utd v Leeds.

Also it means i have little time to get a few beers in before the game! Which is obviously the whole point of bringing KO forward

Cobblers are at home to Cheltenham and Saints are also at home (although I think they don't kick off til the evening) so I'm guessing Police resources will be stretched.

Last season when we played the un-washed at home it was a 3pm kick off, remember thinking at the time that I was surprised it wasnt put to an early kick off.

Well the SO last season ;) asked Northants Police why it should be a 12 noon kick off and they couldnt justify the switch so it stayed at 3. :geek: ;) :)

There was a flare, vandalism and a number of arrests at the last game...

My God..Diamonds v Kettrin, the Cobblers are at home and Northants police are stretched - pathetic.
God help us if there is ever a real incident/emergency in this county.
Dread to think if any of our teams climbed out to the Championship - all games would have a noon kick-off...
