Nah, that award goes to the celebrations after Sharp's winner against Northampton. Crazy on the PDB.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:I got my belly out. Happiest I've ever seen my section of the PDB at a match...Sara Pascoe wrote:Byrne's goal against Oxford. Happiest I've ever been at a match.

I didn't get my belly out though. The best celebration was Aldershot away in the SS Final. I hugged about 4 randomers and sprinted about jumping around like a little kid for 2 minutes.Welsh wrote:Nah, that award goes to the celebrations after Sharp's winner against Northampton. Yeah I agree, fantastic moment, what I'd give to feel joy like that again at a football match.Sara Pascoe wrote:Byrne's goal against Oxford. Happiest I've ever been at a match.

I'm glad it doesn't include this season. Last season would have been a nicer way to go out.

I think I hugged three random people. It was fantastic and packed in the middle of the PDB.

An odd one, but, seeing Yeovil 2 Hereford 3 come up on ceefax to all but secure us the Conference title in 2001 was a sweet moment 8-)

Re: Cheer yourself up
Our days in the football league are the ones I cherish the most (as i'm sure we all do) Me, my brother and my brother went to about 15 home matches a season. As a child in the family section of the south stand I had a buzz every time I went, seeing the airwair full, as a little kid finding the away fans chants hilarious, watching random teams warm up, the rollover hot dog at half time, David Bell & Onandi Lowe (My favourite ever Diamonds players) attendances of 4500. It's the small things that you really appreciate.
More recently, Contsable's goal-kick penalty last season at the kassam was hilarious (although we lost that match!) obviously the play-offs also. Nothing beats a K*ttering away match as well! I just want that buzz back, football should not be like this, it's a sport for the people, not a business.

You know I can remember Adrian Foster missing that header so vividly, like it was yesterday almost - the ball seemed to hang in front of him for ages.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xcL-TiZq-k
Carl Hegggggs, I was 5 at the time. I still maintain to everyone it was my first memory ;) ;)
Someone get mustafas wondergoal on here! Wow.
At the time he was absolutely on fire as well, at the time it seemed easier to score than miss.

We missed getting tickets for the home tie - I spent the whole game peeping through the holes in the exit gates by the corner of the debanke/south stand, travesty!AndyKirkup wrote:You know I can remember Adrian Foster missing that header so vividly, like it was yesterday almost - the ball seemed to hang in front of him for ages.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xcL-TiZq-k
