Questions for Tonight

Post by AndyKirkup »

It was discussed that we would make a cohesive list of questions to be answered and I think this would be really helpful.

Did this happen?

If not, could I start the ball rolling with this thread?

Who would like to be the person to speak out on behalf of everyone? Maybe UttoDiamond or Formic?

Technically there is this: http://www.thediamondsforum.co.uk/viewt ... f=2&t=3328 , but it had drifted down the page/s somewhat.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Hmm, no-one has actually compiled a proper list though, so (if its ok with you mods) maybe we should leave this open and try to do just that.

So here's some questions that I would like to be answered: (please feel free to edit/amend)

- To KC - Is it true that at the time which you handed over the club to the Beasants+Gary Calder it was COMPLETELY debt free? If there was debt, what was the extent of it?
- What was it that convinced KC in the first place that The Beasants + Calder were viable new owners for the club?
- What is the total amount owed by the club to its creditors?
- Who are the major creditors and how much are they owed?
- What at Nene Park is owned by the club and what is ownded by KC/KC's companies?
- Has PBDevs either directly or indirectly removed any monies or assets from the ownership of the club or indeed put money into the club?
- Did Gary Calder remove any monies or assets from the clubor indeed put money into the club?

Here are some questions from the other thread, which are not already covered (I've slightly edited some):

- In KC's opinion, does the Beasants' business model looks capable of generating the funds required to help sustain the football club?
- At what stage do you envisage the embargo being lifted or what is the plan for this? By what date do we need a full squad to be abe to compete next season?
- Have any of the current squad expressed a willingness to wait for the registration embargo to pass in order to sign a new contract with us?
- Was the youth system self funded? If it was was it self sufficient? and again, if it was, why were the players released before the trust stepped in?
- Currently, is the club going to fold if so what are the time scales??
- What are the chiarman and CEO doing to bring in extra funds??
- Keith, is there any mechanism by which you, or we, can remove the Beasants? Are you willing to come back in and act as Chairman, given that previous volunteers and many supporters (including myself) have openly said that they will again give their time and skills if they are removed?

I omitted:

How comes up until December landladies were paid out of an RDFC Youth Account ,Then it Changed to A PBDevs Account,of which they only paid 1 month hence the Debt to landladies?

Because it relates to specific creditors. (sorry)

I think that omitted question is fine to be honest, it's something that interests me. I also want to put my weight behind a youth system question and why it was disbanded. :)
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Point taken, but will KC be able to answer questions to that level of detail about the circumstances surroundnig specific creditors?

Good mix of questions. I think questions (and more importantly ideas) tonight need to focus more upon getting out the mess and the future. I'm just thinking that it could very rapidly degenerate into focusing too much upon the past, when securing the future is more important.

Just a thought, not a criticisim.

I agree to an extent, but we do need to establish all the facts that led to us being in this situation in the first place in order to move on, if possible, and not go down the same path again.

That's fine, we've just got to be careful that we get the balance right.
