Re: Put the Euromillions on!!!!!!
I'd take over the club immediately and employ someone else to run it. All i'd do is drink the beer and watch the matches.mattreddan wrote:Say you won it.. how much would you donate?
Oh, and look down my nose at all you peasants. ;)
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Re: Put the Euromillions on!!!!!!
I'd buy the club & the land back off KC, and do whatever is necessary to make this club stand on its own two feet, and when that happens (ie by selling/renting land or things being built) go back to be on the De Banke, and get all you people to go and fetch my Diamond Burgers at Half Term. And instate someone who deserves the honour in the fanbase as chairman.

Re: Put the Euromillions on!!!!!!
I'd start by taking over the club and commissioning the Rolton Group to make it as eco-friendly as possible. Solar panels on top of the stands, mini wind turbines and ground source heating - whatever it can do. This will minimise our bills and any excess could be sold back to the national grid for a profit.mattreddan wrote:Say you won it.. how much would you donate?
The land must be brought back, or an agreement made with KC to develop it and bring a regular annual income to the club, say £500k a year (more if possible).
Obviously for the start the club must be funded. I'd guess no more than the £20 million Max has already spent.

Re: Put the Euromillions on!!!!!!
talking of the rolton group, has anyone spoken to them about donations?
Back to the euro millions though..........i've always fancied working for a football club, so i would spend a fir bit on 'buying in'

I feel sorry for people who don't drink................when they wake up in the morning, that's the best they're going to feel all day.

Since Peter Rolton is a supporter and previous Trust board member I don't think it's a rank and file fan's place to pressure this company to donate. They will be aware of the situation and I'm sure that if Peter can help he will. ;)diamondphil wrote:talking of the Rolton Group, has anyone spoken to them about donations?
