JE for Braintree
As the Braintree manager has resigned, despite being promoted to BSP is there something going on behind the scenes.?
RDFC owe money to the company who print the programmes, the Chairman of Braintree is the owner of the that print company. Could a deal be in place to write off the debt and "transfer" JE to Braintree.?

I'm sure he said he wants to progress in his career. I don't see Braintree as progressing club.

If that is their new stadium on the top left of their website then they might well be :o .The Godfather wrote:I'm sure he said he wants to progress in his career. I don't see Braintree as progressing club.

Re: JE for Braintree
Their manager resigned because the club wouldn't buy him a company car, so I hear.
“Then a few more issues raised their head and in the end it was a situation regarding a car which tipped me over the edge.
“I was told I would have to make do with a car from an auction between the value of £3,500 to £4,000 which I felt was a bit of an insult considering how many extra miles I would have been doing.”
other bits
“There’s been four managers in four years now at the club and I’m beginning to see why.
“The players were awarded a rubbish bonus for achieving promotion and I can tell you the mood is already doom and gloom among them. Will they stay at the club? I don’t know, it depends what they’re offered and perhaps where I end up as manager.”
"I'm gone I'm out of there, they're a village club now operating in a professional league," he told the Chronicle. "In the end it all came down to the car. They wanted to get me one at auction for four grand – what sort of car am I going to get for that? It'll be about as reliable as the weather.
seems a tad bitter about it

Correct, the cheque which the Beasants raised and then stopped on the Tuesday before the Kiddy game was only £2500. :evil:coolcuts wrote:I don't think there is a massive debt for programs lol
