I wonder who is prepared to get out of bed early for a good cause ?
Am happy to do that. May be able to use cabin though I know there was a regular seller in front of cabin last time we sold from there, so may have to check with Phil about reserving an area around cabin.

I've a few boxes of stuff to get rid of. I tried to drop it off at the club last night before the meeting, but no one seemed to know if there was going to be someone there to organise it. I can't do the boot sales, but I've some stuff to donate and am happy to drop it off. Who wants it?

I didn't have any issue leaving mine there last night - Darren put it in the Trust Cabin. I think it was decided to focus on the boot sale a week on Sunday to give more time to collect other donations and organise people to man the stall - but various other actions are planned for Sunday's one surrounding fund raising.

There's usually a load of stuff left behind from other booters after they've had enough. Perhaps we should collect this and put it on our stall ?? That means we're recycling other people's waste, hopefully making cash out of it and it doesn't have the cost associated with the skip on the site.

I will be down at the club between 1pm & 3pm today (Saturday 14th) and will have access to the cabin.

I'm quite willing to take stuff from people today and store in the cabin for next week. I will also have a chat with Dazzler regarding organising it all for next Sunday (22nd), and in the future.

To commit to doing this we will need quite a few volunteers to step up to the plate and help out. The more we get the easier it is, so now is the time to let me know if you can offer help early on Sunday mornings.

We can then form a rota system to make it easier to plan.

Please feel free to PM me if you can help and I'll let you have my contact details.

This could be a good constant money earner for the Supporters Trust and Rushden & Diamonds but needs to be done every week.

Many thanks

Just got back from the cabin. Many thanks for all those that popped down to drop some boxes off, but we'll need more though.

I will try and arrange for stuff to be dropped of at the club during the week and either Dazzler or myself will sort the boxes out and arrange the stall to be ready for next Sunday.

We have kindly been offered free tea and bacon rolls by Joan for whoever helps out at the stall.

We do need volunteers to help get this off the ground, so if you can spare a few hours please drop me a PM

Thanks

Thinking about this, does anyone know where the current car boot money goes already? I presume it goes to the football club and into the black hole of the frozen account? It must take around £1,000 weekly I'd have thought ?
