Has signed for Dover, where Max Porter is also rumoured to be going. If they keep Birchall (which looks likely) then I'm putting money on them for promotion.

Both could play at a better standard easily, have Dover got too much spare cash or something?

It says he's starting a new job as a financial advisor in a few weeks, so he obviously had plans of leaving and going part-time.

Think all that has happened at RDFC has probably made him feel he needs the security you don't get at this level of football.

I know Shane was only with us for a relatively short while, but you could see how desperate he was to win each match, and how much it meant to him when we did.
