On a completely unrelated note, Tomlin just had a goal ridiculously disallowed for Peterborough. He is playing up front today and has looked far better.

Shame really - not the best match, as England never really got going forward (although didn't have too many problems in defence themselves). I guess Portugal had a few more shots, made keeper work at least. England probably had their only real chance (and probably should have scored) in injury time. A couple of great saves by the England Keeper as well.
Nice to see the Diamonds Youth get their presentation at half time as well :-)
[extra time = injury time..I knew what I meant ;-) was working at the same time that's my excuse anyway]
