They're drainage ditches which have been dug to drain the pitch and filled in with sand.

Darius Charles' story is a bizarre one. A centre back for an Ebbsfleet team that were relegated from this division, gets a move to Stevenage, and promptly becomes a very decent STRIKER in League Two.

What's so odd about Stevenage's achievement is that they seem to have done it without any strikers of note - their topscorers appear to be midfielders or defenders with 6 or 7 goals in a season.

Bostwick under Garry Hill: A fraudster pretending to be a footballer

Bostwick under Westley: League Two play off finalist

In fairness to Benny (and it's not often I'll say that) Bostwick was equally as shite for us under Westley. I don't think you can pin that one on Benny, as hopeless a manager as he was.

I will never forget him firing wide from 6 yards out against Halifax away when the keeper was stranded and he had an open goal.
