Being linked to us at Cobblers....don't know that much about him except quite highly rated by you guys?

I await numerous comments such as.....'no way he'll join you' 'he's better than your level' etc etc.

Genuine interest from me though in how good he is? Obviously you got rid of your whole squad so he wouldn't cost us anything.

Was excellent in 09/10 season, but wasn't half as good this year in my opinion. Limited technical ability but runs himself into the ground every game and puts himself about. Also England C captain. Of our players from last season, he's one of two or three i think could make the step up into the FL. If he's not going to remain at Diamonds i'd like to see him at the Cobblers.

He's a solid player who gives 100% every game. Not the most creative player but he should do a decent job in league 2.

For me, he'd do a job in League 2 - no higher.

He is a solid centre midfielder, very 'honest', puts 110% effort in, but for me he doesn't have the creative spark/5 yard pace/goalscoring ability/experience to make him more than a League 2 player.

He is young though and I suppose he could become an accomplished defensive midfielder higher up with experience with time.
