Well we should at least hear something by the end of the week from the Trust Meeting, isn't that tomorrow (26th)?
I suppose the dynamics of that meeting could change depending on whether or not we hear anything official from the club today...

What can the Trust do other than make contingency plans for a Phoenix side?diamondphil wrote:Well we should at least hear something by the end of the week from the Trust Meeting, isn't that tomorrow (26th)?

Without any apparent contact from the owners there is no basis for the Trust to make decisions relating to the legal entity that is R & D F.C.

Agreed, however at least we should get a glimpse of what they are doing to support the club, and what they are planning for the future with regards to a possible pheonix side, and with regards to the safeguarding of the youth setup

Why on earth would any investor want to take a club on with crippling debts caused by a former regime with little chance of recouping anything?
If any announcements prior to the Conference Board AGM then administration is the most likely outcome - if no announcements liquidation will happen on 13 June. Either way I think the Club is doomed.

If the club goes into administration then an agreement will have to be made for a %age in the £ to the creditors in order for it to survive. This might be attractive to an investor if they can see there might be a viable club to work with.Reality wrote:Why on earth would any investor want to take a club on with crippling debts caused by a former regime with little chance of recouping anything?

If it goes into admin would it prove a more viable target for any investers as would it then effectivly be debt free.but would then KC get the prick as he would have lost a lot of cash along with the other creditors.and if its liquidated then the creditors are then surely screwed as the club don,t own nothing do they as KC owns the ground.so would any investors just be sitting and waiting, who knows. please anyone correct me if i'm wrong :?:

I've just got home, looks like no statement then, just like the no replies to my emails................has PB Developments gone tits up too or are they residing up at the frontier centre.
I have this feeling that we just wont get any answers to our questions and that they will just slip away in the night.

Admin just means that specialist finance people take over control of the club from the directors. They then work out whether the business is viable enough to carry on, look to find someone to invest/sell. If neither of those are options then it will go into liquidation.
Liquidation means end of the company that runs the football club in it's current from. Moneys owed to the club are collected and shared out to those that are owed.

Correct and given the impossible financial state of the Club liquidation would be the only option as without a large amaount of money to pay of the ever increasing list of creditors the Club would not be viable.Diamond White wrote:Admin just means that specialist finance people take over control of the club from the directors. Whilst we understand and empathise with your sentiments Reality, please be careful not to put this messageboard and all it's efforts to raise money at risk from potentially being closed down. If we are in a hole, we should stop digging.
