Trying to find a better pic. It's about all I can do to help unfortunately.
The 0-0 draw against Leeds and then Carl Heggs' goal had a lot to do with me becoming a Diamonds fan. It wasn't instantaneous though. Just sort of happened. Visiting the Diamonds also helped me become a Timbers supporter so I am forever indebted.

I've actually never been to Nene Park. I've only been lucky enough to go to the UK twice, and the second time I rescheduled my flight to take in the 1-1 draw to open the 2007-08 campaign at Woking.
I currently live in Portland, but I'm probably moving again soon.

BartonRaz wrote:I see Wilmington Hammerheads FC from America have donated. For anyone as sad as me, Wilmington is a small town not much bigger than Wellingborough in North Carolina where One Tree Hill is filmed ;) .
I now follow them as I live in Wilmington,NC.
I was a season ticket holder for several years, culminating in 2001 when I moved to the USA.
Former Hammerhead players you may know include Glen Murray ex-Brighton now Crystal Palace and Anthony Hudson the New Newport County Manager.

So the momentum seems to have gone down again, after picking up considerably yesterday.
Keep going everyone - if we get to £1000 then I may have a nice suprise for you......
(presumably this will prompt a lot of questions - what is the surprise, etc. but I'm not telling yet)
