I'm no expert and needless to say I still don't fully understand admin/CVAs or any of this sort of thing, but I can't see how the business is ever going to be viable to carry on, as without heavy backing, as a non league club its never going to be sustainable is it.Diamond White wrote:Admin just means that specialist finance people take over control of the club from the directors. They then work out whether the business is viable enough to carry on, look to find someone to invest/sell. If neither of those are options then it will go into liquidation.
Liquidation means end of the company that runs the football club in it's current from. Moneys owed to the club are collected and shared out to those that are owed.

Re: CEO and Chairman very quiet....
We are wasting our precious time awaiting a statement from Mr and Mr B can we approach whoever is running the club on a day to day basis and ask them for an update............................. I cant see we will be seeing conference football next year, I hope I am wrong but there you go.
At least CVA tells us whats what and may flush out an investor who like us are awaiting a statement, these investors have a habit of surfacing at the 11th hour but it the FA must be watching closely!

Yes of course it can! It just needs the right people to run it. The club has great facilities and these have never really been used to anywhere near their maximum potential. The club should be making the most commercial use out of these, renting rooms out for meetings, events, dinners etc.
With 25-30 games a year at the ground that leaves 330+ days a year that need to be maximized as much as possible from a commercial point of view. If this is done correctly and we can boost attendance back up to an average of around 1500 a game then yes this club can be sustainable in the long run in this league.

Dinkydiamond - the Beasants are still running the Club on a day to day basis and are still the official owners even if they are not there all of the time.
We also need to remember that if the Club are looking at a cva the first action they take in that regard will be, I think, regarded as an act of insolvency as far as the Conference Board are concerned, which will be a problem if it takes place before the AGM.

Re: CEO and Chairman very quiet....
Thanks DM, apart from my fears that they are not competent, does running a club remotely actually work, led to beleive that lease cars have been off hired, was there an early release cost, what about the houses rented.........ditto the costs!
Do we not need an update on where we are............yes, are we going to get one...........no!
The communication has been pathetic and has any number crunching been done regards actual debt..............I doubt it based on history.
Apologies for being so cynical!

Don't think you are being cynical just honest. The problem is whilst they are the legal owners there is nothing we, the supporters, can do. They have no obligations to advise us of the amount owed, unless of course the club goes into a cva or Administration then that amount will be quantified for the purposes of the creditors\ cva practioner\Administrator.

Mr S Beasant is not gonna play ball and I guess want the debts they have accrued in a short space of time wiped out.
The main losers here are the fans and the youth/first tem players, being saved as we are, is not going to happen, we cannot rely on current owners to resolve where we are - I am preparing for the worst and do not expect to hear anything from the owners - having said that are tehy being pressed, could Pressman ring them, could Radio Northampton approach them, could a club spokesman explain current status
Laadak had a reputation for being hit and miss but a least he surfaces occassionally.

I believe that several people have tried to contact them but they are not returning any calls!
I've come to the conclusion that they don't care; we may lose our club, they're not bothered or affected by that as they have no affinity to it, or us, whatsoever.

DF, I feel the same but every dog has his day, it may take years but they need pursuing and answers need to be given, if our efforts can stop any other fans going through what we are going through then we have a duty of care to stop these owners doing this again to any other club.
Re: CEO and Chairman very quiet....
Agreed, their behaviour has been absolutely shocking considering the current situation with a lot of worried people associated with the club, the sooner they leave and hopefully never go near another football club again the better!Diamondsforever wrote:I believe that several people have tried to contact them but they are not returning any calls!
