as a supporter for over 40 years first of Rushden and then the Diamonds I really think the serious question of a merger has not been discussed enough,we are only here because of a merger so why not again
It is a fact neither club can support full time Conference football for much longer due to a combination of finance,diminishing support and ground issues (leave aside 2 sets of dodgy owners).The world is changing we must take our head out the sand and change or die
The subject should be discussed properly without stupid bigotry getting in the way ,I know that if the only way we can survive at Nene Park is to become Nene Rangers so be it, survival is the most important thing .The odds are that in our current state any survival will undoubtedly be short lived
