Annual Running Costs
Annual Running Costs
I have tried to see what the annual running costs are for Diamonds. Does anyone know? I have seen threads about a £400k playing budget but not what the other costs are. I seemed to recall that a few years ago annual costs were about £1.8m - not long after the Griggs left the club with a couple of reductions since then.Any guidance would be gratefully received as it will put current debt etc into perspective. Thanks

Re: Annual Running Costs
I suspect KTFC all in costs including playing budget which was higher than ours last season and including rent paid to Pickering are a lot higher than the figure you've mentioned.discodunk wrote:ktfc running costs are 600k /annum.........so you do the maths,,,,its got to be near 1 million

Re: Annual Running Costs
HT said at the Trust meeting the other night that playing budget aside, the company actually made a profit for the first time ever last year !
You'd have to speak to Helen Thompson about the running costs, she'd be in the know. You can get hold of her at Corby Town Football Club.

Things have moved on since the last posted accounts at Companies House, they'd be a couple of years out of date as none have been posted there in recent times (in fact they're listed as "overdue" - as are K*ttering's)

Re: Annual Running Costs
I would think that 400k as a professional playing budget was low and would have thought even with our small squad it would be double that. With our gates down to just over a thousand for many games and some under that, I was tryingto see how you could run up debts of 750k and to see what sort of revenue the club needs to generate each year to sustain this level of football should control of the club change.
I will take a look at companies house details to see what is there, even if historic just out of curiosity.

In an interview with the ET, JE said the budget was £460K, KC confirmed this at the recent meeting. I did look for a link, but can't find it.smiffy428 wrote:I would think that 400k as a professional playing budget was low and would have thought even with our small squad it would be double that.
