Whilst I'd agree an analytical breakdown isn't possible, some interpretation of KC's ball park figure is needed to try to get an consensus of whether the total debt is huge or extremely huge ;)

Has the Trust attempted to get a breakdown of KC's figure to find out what's included?

No mention of it at the meeting last week, although Helen did go through all of the running costs (going by the previous season's figures) which gave us an idea of what might have contributed to the debt.

Don't ask me to reproduce them here though, as the list was rather long!

I see a value placed on NP at 10-12million. My understanding was that KC took over the land when he bailed the club out. As a football ground is it valued at 10million or is that the value of land if developed for other uses -supermarket or other? This would seem to be a good return for KC as he surely has not contributed anything like tis figure.
That said, I hope he is devoted to the cause and the value of the land without club is of no interest to him. I like many would like to see him return and save us for a second time. I also think that even with a core fan base of 1000 we can turn this around and make the club viable hopefully without the need for any mergers!

sell all the land around np for shops, cinema, hotel, marina .......any overspill of people may come and watch a match........i have many gripes with rdfc, and i class myself as loyal,i have to say i was a bit cheesed of the last few games of the season ,when at half time they were touting for our money......surely they should have been trying to get outsiders to matches as we were already putting our honest dollar their way,why didnt they put an offer out like pay for 2 games get 1 half price(they might have got 50 people hooked, bums on seats as they say ,burgers in the chops  )
why did they train outside np????they used to travel to kimbolton!!!!!now raunds manor (i think)......fuel, rent etc all adds up !!!!
then theres the local community,......can i ask what was done for them???? ohh a car boot...lovely,..you might think they make money from this ,but surely the stewards/marshals are getting paid(quite rightly to)8 x 50 pound(pure guess)---400 quid!!!!!
what happened to trade fairs??
what happened to open days??
what happened to players going to local schools???(i remember when this happened ,and it was the talk of the local school for weeks ,the kids were well excited~)
what about after training?? they used to go to waitrose cafe...why?...waitrose dont need their money.they could have popped into local cafes once in a while ,and put some revenue back into OUR COMMUNITY!!!!
the players need summat to do (if any left)lets see how loyal they are........get them to tidy the ground, cut the grass ,paint the woodwork etc after all they may have to do it next year if they become part time
getting back to the begging issue ,i think i put enough through the gates, how many people turned out for hillier cup games? i remember being at nene park with about 300 LOYAL fans with icicles hanging off my nose and having to go back to my car at half time for a secound coat .a free cuppa would have been nice....or even half price......how many parents on here take their kids,,,,,fed them and smuggled drinks through the gate ;) ;) only to be suckered by them when you get to half time...dad can i have some chips
to say i am bitter is an understatement, but i still remain loyal(like an owner who kicks his dog i will still lick his hand) ........diamonds to me have forgot where they come from and the community they serve, its as though they are embarrased by us country bumpkins,,,,,,,,,,SORRY RANT OVER(there is more but my fingers hur :D

mac wrote:Surely KC debt is only that since the Beasants took over IE ground rental as I assume he obtained the ground and land estimated worth £10-20 million in exchange for debts, or has he obtained it for nothing if he still requires his loans repaying .As the largest creditor by far according to himself, do we know what they relate to and what reason is there for him not standing by his offer to write off his loans when he sold out.Our position although grim may look a lot different if we knew what percentage of the £750,000 is owed to KC
Mac posted this earlier in the thread. Personally I do not have a clue what the value of the land is. It is clearly a big site and would be worth a few pounds as industrial/retail. As a football club not so productive unless it was all used to extract every last penny which is not happening at moment.

I personally think that there is limited value in the land that KC has acquired. As we know there is extant planning permission for a hotel which will expire in the next year or so and for one reason or another KC has mothballed his plans. I can't see the remaining land at the rear being much use for industrial and/or retail as the local authority will not be anxious to permit further development of this nature in that location. Don't forget HSBC Developments had planning permission and grand plans for a leisure complex north of Diamonds Way. Once again this scheme hit the buffers and a safer option as a Hospital Outpatients building has been developed.
