Re: D -day
I'd love to be proven wrong, but i've got a nasty feeling that every man and his dog will log on to this forum tomorrow, expecting to learn our fate, and we'll hear absolutely f*** all.

Re: D -day
The Conference will deceide our fate tomorrow. If someone comes in on Tuesday with a couple of million quid I imagine it will make sod all difference. I hope the club make an immediate anouncement and treat us with some dignity for once, but it wouldn't surprise me if the first we hear comes from Southport F.C.

Re: D -day
I would imagine Rules will have to be followed and the meeting today is just to update the Conference on whats happening (if anything) so they can prepare for the AGM next weekend.
Not knowing the full prodeedures but it may take the Whole membership of the Conference to vote us out or demote us as we did finish midtable officially.
We may get a Statement later today but In someways i am still leaning towards not hearing anything official about our fate until the weekend however we may get leaks about today on the Non League show tonight if it still going now the seasons ended.

Re: D -day
Today is actually the 67th. anniversary of the D-day landings in Normandy.
That campaign was ultimately much more successful than ours will probably turn out to be, but they didn't have 7 unsatisfied County Court Judgements and a Winding Up order hanging over them :(

Re: D -day
Well 'D-Day' has been and gone, and unsurprisingly we have heard absolutely nothing. Roll on the next D-Day, at least then it won't be Rushden & Diamonds responsibility to communicate.
