If we ignore it - will it go away ?

Post by Formic »

It's now been over a month since we were advised of the 5 point penalty, yet the official Conference Website is sill showing a League Table with us in 12th place, still keeping those points.

I assumed we weren't likely to appeal, and nothing has been documented that an appeal was made, but if we didn't appeal then why haven't the Conference updated the League Table on their website ?

Does it matter really at the moment, not like the League is still active.

It will no doubt will be sorted on the 11th/12th June and the final League table will be ratified.

Needs to be ratified at the AGM I suppose, I guess they were waiting to see how many points Forest Green Rovers needed to stay up first ;)

No - of course it doesn't matter - that wasn't my point.

I've since checked this with Steve Beasant, who has confirmed we didn't appeal.

I still can't understand why the Conference chose to make news of the original decision to penalise us so public via their website. It appeared on there several weeks ago, before it had been released to our own staff, or we'd had the chance to appeal. They didn't seem to do that in K*ttering's case, with that being kept pretty quiet until now.

Like to show K*ttering my appreciation for offsetting our loss!
