I mentioned it on the Programme Forum that I am on and it received a good response.
I don't know what the possibilities are of holding one at the ground, so I've a few questions that need answering. I wanted to see whether there would be an interest first..
Sunday is the best time to hold them, and that has been requested by members of the forum.. This would potentially cause a problem with the Car Boot Sales.
The Strikers Bar would be the best time time opening - would the bar be available to open?
If all the money went to the club, I'm assuming we wouldn't have to pay to use the Strikers Bar?
I'm sure there's a few other potential problems that I will post as they come to me..

Re: Programme Fair at Nene Park?
I can't remember us having one. We had an auction once in Strikers. Would be good to have one of them as it would raise a lot of money if we contacted clubs to donate things. Again though, it's the lack of response from people at the club that means things such as these don't go ahead.STAGMAN wrote:Seems a good idea to me , did n,t we have one a few years ago
There has been programme fairs at Raunds and K*ttering before.

The last programme sale I remember was actually on the same day as a boot sale - but only Diamonds programmes were being sold - as well as various items of club memorabilia. I remember because it's the only time I've been to a Boot Sale at NP. I think it would have been around 2003.

Re: Programme Fair at Nene Park?
As per Formic (although this is probably a bit later - most like 2006/7 ) we did do a Programme Fair for RDFC Programmes and various random others in the Airwair (on a Car Boot day). We also had lots of Shop Stock as well at that time which we were selling off. We used the main counter in one half of the airwair and a few tables around the side.
We actually got rid of half the programmes, and then 2 people turned up with donations of programmes that meant we were back to where we started (in number of programmes).
