The Conference board haven't stopped KC (or whoever was providing the cash) from paying off the creditors using the reported £350,000, and they don't have the power to do so. All they have said is that it's not enough to convince them to allow us to continue in the league.
Just because the Conference has expelled us from their league, doesn't mean that KC (or whoever) can't give the £350,000 to the club to pay off its creditors.

I was thinking exactly the same Tony, but these guys on the Conference Board seem to do what the hell they like and are beyond reproach. I have no doubts that legal action could be explored if our appeal isn't upheld, especially if within the next 14 days we get a set of new investors ready and willing to fulfil our financial commitments but are prevented from doing so by the Conference Board. The acid test will be Monday and the winding up orders. If the creditors there agree to an extension because they are convinced they will get their money, then our appeal will have more balls behind it. Will it be upheld? Probably not, but then they will have some questions to ask by people who have lost money.
